Hi, I’m Chris White—an AAT licensed accountant and sole trader based near Hildenborough. I run CWABC to support startups, sole traders, and small business owners with clear, jargon-free bookkeeping and accounting advice. Whether you’re just starting out or scaling up, I’ll help you stay compliant and confident with your business finances.
A bit about me
I’ve worked in finance for over 20 years and currently serve as Head of Finance for a law firm. But CWABC is where I get to do what I love most—helping real people make sense of their business finances with clear, jargon-free bookkeeping and accounting support.
I started CWABC in 2021 as a way to offer practical, no-nonsense support to sole traders and small business owners. What began as a side project quickly grew into something bigger—because it turns out a lot of people are looking for an accountant who’s approachable, explains things clearly, and actually listens.
I run CWABC as a sole trader, working with clients across Hildenborough and beyond. When you work with me, it’s me you’re working with. No junior staff. No handoffs. Just one-to-one support from someone who knows what it’s like to juggle the day job, the paperwork, and everything else life throws at you.
How I help
I support startups, sole traders and small businesses with bookkeeping, accounting and practical advice—so things feel simpler and more manageable, not more stressful.
I’ll keep your day-to-day bookkeeping organised and MTD-compliant, handle your self-assessment and Corporation Tax returns, and explain everything clearly, in plain English.
Need to register for VAT or unsure what applies to you? I’ll guide you through it and take care of submissions. I also run payroll and CIS for clients with employees or subcontractors.
I can get you set up on Xero, FreeAgent or QuickBooks, and show you how to use it with confidence. I also offer budgeting support and business advice when you want a second opinion or clearer picture of your finances.
